The opposite of “being” is seeking to impress.
Being is authentic. Impressing is fake.
Being reflects depth of character. Impressing reflects superficiality. Being is true. Impressing is a lie.
Anyone can impress.
But to “be” we need to “find ourselves” beyond ourselves.
